At Lakewood Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Nicholas Bushey (pediatric dentist) and Dr. Stephanie Davis (orthodontist) are committed to creating a world-class treatment experience for your child.

Our Pediatric Dentist

Dr. nicholas Bushey

After obtaining his undergraduate bachelor degree, Dr. Bushey was awarded the coveted 4-year Health Professional Scholarship for dental school. Dr. Bushey went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DDS) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Pennsylvania and later served as a general dentist officer for 5 years in the Air Forceone year of which included an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. While in the United States Air Force, Dr. Bushey was stationed in Cambridge, England; Tampa, Florida; and Dayton, Ohio.

Following his service in the Air Force, Dr. Bushey discovered a passion for pediatric dentistry and went on to complete his pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio and Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. After becoming a board-certified diplomate, Dr. Bushey relocated to Dallas, TX to be near his family. He now spends his free time running at White Rock Lake with his dog Copper, playing tennis, traveling, and enjoying Lakewood’s food and wine options.

Our Orthodontist

Dr. Stephanie Davis

Dr. Stephanie Davis has been practicing orthodontics since 2009. She graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree. She then went on to obtain a Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Medical Science degree at Harvard’s Advanced Graduate Education Program. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Dental Association. She is certified as a Clear Correct and Invisalign provider.

Dr. Davis was raised in southern Florida and now lives in North Dallas. In her spare time, she loves spending times with her four young kids and husband—enjoying everything from 1,000 piece puzzles to dance parties in the kitchen. Dr. Davis enjoys musical theatre, karaoke,  and watching Bravo. She is also passionate about raising money for women’s and children’s health initiatives and childhood cancer research. In support of her passions, Dr. Davis recently participated in a half marathon at Disney World to raise money for “Alex’s Lemonade Stand,” a children’s cancer research charity. Dr. Davis loves being an orthodontist and takes pride in building relationships with her patients. She aims to help every patient achieve their best smile and considers it a privilege to share in this incredible process.
